Merry Christmas F3 Brothers,
I am excited to introduce Thirsty Soul Thirsty. TST is Raleigh’s first third F workout. As many of you, I began the first F as I lacked motivation to workout on my own. There were not enough hours in the day to get in a good sweat and I sure wasn’t going to get up at 5:30 am to work out by myself. In the same way time gets away from us and the days and weeks pass and we find we have not made time to spend in the word strengthening the third F, our FAITH.
Our goal is provide a platform where men, regardless of where they are in there journey, can study, learn, share and support one another as Jesus Christ calls us to do. We are modeling TST much like IPTAY shared at our dinner a few weeks ago.
The foundation will be Matthew 22:37 & 39 – “Love the Lord your God with all you heart, all your soul and all your mind” and “Love your neighbor as yourself”. This of course was was Jesus’ response to the Pharisees question “What is the greatest commandment?”.
With this foundation we will discuss how Jesus wants us to follow him as a man, husband, father, son, brother, friend, servant and christian.
We hope this is the start of many other third F workouts. We will meet at Larry David’s(Mike Malone) office at 4600 Marriott Drive Suite 150 between the Crabtree Marriott and the Embassy Suites at noon every Thursday.
