What a joy it was to welcome 23 Pax including 2 FNGs to the Jungle to share a little pre-Easter work.  Great to have Azul back in the gloom!  YHC was honored to lead such a fine group!  After the routine legal and administrative disclosures including that there was no insurance if anyone was injured and “no blood in this turnip”, we got to it.

Warm Up:

SSH x 20, Cotton Picker x 20, Good Morning x 20, SAS x 20 and Burpees x 5 OYO.

The Thang:

After the Pax orderly and with not much chatter formed 2 lines, we set off in an Indian Run down Lassiter Mill Rd.  As each line approached a street light, the Pax in front called an exercise (note to self, there are more street lights on the left side).  We all gathered together at the bottom of the hill in Lassiter Mill Park for a round of Urkins, Prisoner Squats and Derkins x 20,15,5.  Recover on the run.

Fellowship run to Marlowe Rd and Old Lassiter Mill Rd. where we partnered up.  P1 ran to the bottom of the hill while P2 did Burpees.  Flap jack for a total of 60 Burpees.  Time to head back home so we alternated Bear Crawls and Lunges between the street lights until getting back to Lassiter Mill Rd.  From there, Fellowship run to the parking lot.  Txs to the Pax for starting Mary while the remaining Pax caught up.

COT:

Welcome FNG “Kilt” and “Slim Jim”.  Great work by both.  Welcome to the brotherhood!  No announcements or prayer requests.

Thank you to the Pax for allowing me the honor of leading you today. It is always a pleasure!  What a blessing it is to meet in the gloom to push and encourage each other.  Thank you for stepping up to walk through difficult times, celebrate the joys and to lift each other up in prayer!

T-claps to Chaney for taking us out and lifting us up!
