YHC awoke to a Facebook live feed from Deadbolt who was already on site with the shovel flag planted. I made my way to Honeycutt Park and after seeing a few cars in the parking lot, I knew it was going to be a good morning.
- Jog around track then down to lower circle for warm-up
- Side Straddle Hop x 25 IC
- Sir Fazio Arm Circles x 10 each way IC
- Mountain Climbers x 25 IC
- Standard Merkin x 25 IC
- Air Squared x 25 IC
- Sprint to Tennis Courts
- Balls to the Wall x 25 IC
- Wheelbarrow across courts, switch with partner on way back
- Balls to the Wall x 25 IC
- The Der-Squat-Kin: 1 man in Derkin position with feet on shoulders of partner who is in squat position. Partner 1 does derkin, then partner 2 does a squat. Partner 1 did 10 on the derkin side while partner 2 does squats, then run around track in opposite direction until you meet, where Partner 2 does derkins and Partner 1 does squats. We did 4 laps of this so each man did 40 derkins and 40 squats.
- Pass the Pill: Indian Run where a cinderblock was passed down the line then man in the back runs to the front with it and passes it back… we did this for 2 laps, then circled for Mary.
- Slow LBC x 25 IC
- Low Slow Flutter x 25 IC
- Ukranian Hammer x 25 IC
Moleskin: Great workout by all. Several major points were discussed:
- After over a year on the job and 43 Qs, its time to pass the torch on the site Q at Mutiny. Step up and take it!
- Also, South Wake needs to setup a sign-up sheet for Qs so that more people get involved and the site Q is not the only person leading the workout each week. Deadbolt will take the lead on this and setup a Google Sheet and share the link.
- Moving Mutiny from Honeycutt to Womble or Holly Grove Middle School was also discussed to try and increase participation…although Honeycutt is a great site, the other 2 would be closer options to the majority of the people in this group. There was significant dissent – so this idea should shelved and more folks from the Fuquay region are brought in.
