A small but dedicated group gathered in the darkness to see what Boyardee cooked up for his first Q. And he delivered.
Warm Up (Appetizers)
SSH
Arm Circles & Reverse
Merkins
The Thang (Main Course)
Indian run up the hill, attempting to avoid getting run over by the construction trucks. Stop at the mini-basketball court. (At least one member of the PAX attempted to show off by dunking on the 7-foot rim.)
The Court: Merkin pyramid. (Fast pace, no mercy.)
The Hill: Single file line doing each exercise up, over, and down the other side and then run back to the starting point and await the next exercise. Lineup was sprint, bear crawl, crab walk, crawl bear, sprint. (Q was overheard noting he underestimated the difficulty of the steep crawl bear and was met with grunted responses.)
The Pavilion: Dips, diamond irkins, dips, diamond irkins. (Diamond incline merkins to be renamed Diamerkins?)
The Grass: Suicides, using each of the seven trees as markers, going all the way to the opposite sidewalk. (Note freshly watered turf tends to feel like quicksand.)
The Tables: Descending sets of pullups on the ping pong tables. (Yanni may have trademarked “PPP”)
Mary (Dessert)
LBC
American Hammer
Mountain Climbers
Crunchy Frog
Peter Parker
Indian run back to the parking lot.

Kudos to a Q well done. Looking forward to the next one.
