The rain didn’t dampen the attendance this morning, except for those who HC on twitter the night before. Quick warm up circle of SSH, Imperial Walkers and Arm Circles. Over the to upper field for full field warm up: Butt kickers, high knees and karaoke. Nice and easy.
Back over the the parking lot for sprints and other fun. Split into 2 groups – 1 group sprints the parking lot for 2 laps, while the other exercises. Flapjack when runners get back. Exercises consisted of: merkins, dry docks, mountain climbers, jump lunges and finally staggered curb merkins.
Once everyone felt a little complacent and comfortable we moved to the picnic shelter. One group ran the dogleg left from the shelter, making sure to include 10x jumps at the bottom wall and 10x irkins on the top wall. Around the lamp post then 10x dips at the top wall, then 10x derkins at the bottom wall and back to the shelter. To pass the time until group 1’s return the other group cycled through rounds of 5x pullups 10x merkins and 15x squats. Each group completed 3 rounds of each.
Wrapped things up with a little Mary: LBCs, Dying Cochroach, Hammers. Then Sarkozy for a 5 count around the circle and flipped to a Putin for another count around the circle.
