Like every Tuesday, they arrived. A few showed up early and ran a fast lap around the lake. By the time they returned, the rest of the Pax had gathered. Then YHC and Java took the reins with one simple mission. Don’t fuck it up. And with that, we were off.

Warm-up
6 exercises. IC.

Move Earth
Head down to the rock pile. Grab a rock. Size always matters. Jog, with your rock, up the trail, across the damn and up to the upper lot. Stopping twice along the way for, a break? No, 10 Burpees OYO.

Build Pyramid
On the line. Squats and presses. Sets of 10/15/20/15/10 with sprints across the lot and back between each set. Brutal.

Return Earth
Run rocks, the long way, stopping along the way for more Burpees. Four stops if I recall. And some Derkins. And some curls and triceps for the fun of it.

Mary
We did some.

COT
YHC shared a quote from John Wayne. “Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway.” And then retold the story shared on Memorial Day in F3 Carterico about PFC John Calvin Collins. Private Collins was the only KIA from Morehead City during Vietnam. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. His sister told a story of how he was scared to death before shipping out. But he saddled up, and went. He had True Grit. And we honor him.
