Donations are whatever you may feel like, $42 is suggested as it is $1 per mile. The run will take place on Saturday June 12, 2021 from 0500-1200 with the start at the intersection of Goode St. and Biggs Dr. right down from the gas pumps. The route is 1.25 miles so anyone can run or walk it and people can hop in and out as much as they like. It’s a solid opportunity to push yourself past what you previously thought you were capable of.
Significance of the run is, me turning 39 years old with 3 years of sobriety — so I will be running 42 miles.
I’d love to see as many people join me as possible, but just as if not more importantly, please donate! Urban Ministries of Wake County is a healthcare clinic for the indigent and underprivileged who helped me out tremendously while I was at HT. They provide more than just healthcare, they also have a food pantry which to my understanding is pretty stressed given current circumstances.
