YHC agreed to an early morning 3 mile EC ruck with Adolphus to Bastille.  Seemed like a good idea… until it wasn’t.  Evidently my rucking speed is severely impacted by adding coupons – so we were running late.   Phone call placed to Dunphy while rucking.  Dunphy answered and asked if we wanted a ride.  I said yes.  Adolphus said no.  Ruck on.

Dunphy warmed the PAX up.  Likley included SSH, WMH, Arm Circles  +100-ish merkins.

The Thang
Greeted the PAX on their warm up run to Southern Village.  Dropped our coupons.  Kept our rucks.
Head to the back of the Southern Village parking deck. Divide into 2 groups.
Pull-up & merkin pyramid (1-10).  1 pull-up:1 merkin… 2 pull-ups:2 merkins… Repeato until 10.
Short run down the hill.  Turn and face up the hill.  Traveling burpee hill climb.  Run back down.
Recovery jog around the corner to the next hill.  Run (backwards) up the hill. 10 merkins at the top.
Run down the hill.  10 merkins. Repeato until you hit 10 cycles.  Run back up the hill.
Find a bench of wall section.  Dips (x20 IC), Box Jumps (x20 OYO), Dips (x20).

Editor’s Note:  Blackball checked our time at approx. 6:25am.  We should have been heading back.
Oxygen deprivation impacted my mental capacity since I was sure we were going until 6:45am.
PAX reminded YHC that 6:30 was our completion time.  I decided not to charge extra for overtime.

Spooky’s Dad doing well following surgery at Mayo Clinic.  Hoping for discharge home next week.
