When YHC started F3 a year and a half ago, I was a regular at Urban Jungle. It’s a great AO. I was impressed with the big crowds and the mythical He-men that posted there regularly. When Deliverance decided to create another party (starfish) named Ethanol, I must admit, I was slightly intimidated. Small crowds (no hiding) and a star studded group of PAX for ‘high tempo’ bootcamp. High tempo… I could barely get through regular tempo. So I continued my F3 journey and posted at UJ. Then one day, I felt compelled to test myself and wanted to see what Ethanol was all about. Needless to say, it’s been a great AO led by Deliverance (one of the original He-men). Small groups (definitely no hiding), not many ten counts, Maize introduction to Hingis Khan (repeats), High-life & Cherie Berry leading / pulling the group each week…one suck fest after another. Of course, there was the worst (in YHC and Costco‘s opinion) post on 4/15/15 led by Elsinore – now referred to as the Brick Death March. That one seriously kicked my arse and put me in my place. So, it would only be fitting to close the curtain and repeat this nasty work-out. With Elsinore invite extended (and accepted), just 6 would close it out like it’s always been… small crowd (no hiding), High-life leading the way, and me sucking wind as I lead the great men today. No FNGs, no time to waste. Here’s the Elsinore Brick Death March:

Announcements: Mule on 3/5, Ethanol moving to run workout led by Yoyo and Sampler starting next week. Look for more info
Prayer requests: YHC had his car broken into this weekend. Mayhem prayed for those that need to find something more productive than breaking into my car!
Moleskin:
- Mr Bigglesworth (kotters) pulled up asking if this was a run only workout. To his dismay, that starts next week. He then told me about his little bball elbow injury. I promptly informed him, “You may have chosen the wrong workout today. Do your best.” He did and pulled through like a champ.
- Elsinore, a champ like he is, didn’t back down from my invite. Motto of the day… blame him. Seriously, great workout and always great to have him out. Really sucked again today though
- There have been some really painful workouts here – to name a few: Maize and Hingis Khan (repeats), Countrywide and the never ending hill repeats… mostly it was the message that day that got me… Most importantly, the fellowship that took place with small groups has been the best
- Deliverance – nice job leading the AO. Thanks for pushing me and others to come out and get better. I look forward (not really) to coming out with YoYo at the helm.
Always a pleasure.
