With respect to Bear Bryant, it wasn’t the Junction Boys and it wasn’t Texas, but rocks were involved as 14 PAX sweated out the heat and humidity as Saban whipped them in shape for the upcoming season.
Start with a warmup jog around the parking lot and down to the adjacent lot
Warmup: SSH, Good morning, Imperial Walker, Windmill, Sir Fazio Arm Circles, Quick Feet
The Thang:
Picnic shelter – 2 Groups Flapjack – (Set 1) OYO 10 Hanging leg raises/20 Decline LBC (Rinse and Repeat); (Set 2) OYO 10 Burpees/20 Decline Merkins (Rinse and Repeat)
Jog to road and select “decent size” rocks for a rock set (trading off rocks after each exercise): Rock curls, Rock tricep extensions, Rock deadlift, Rock hammers (Rinse and Repeat three times)
Jog to basketball court. Regular suicide, Suicide with 2 star jumps at each stop (confused PAX about what constitutes stopping), Suicide with 5 jump lunges at each stop (confused PAX about what constitutes 1 jump lunge), Regular suicide.
Jog to grassy knoll. Mountain climbers, Chilcutt Peter Parkers, and Jack Webbs (confused PAX about how to multiply by 3 – FYI – my 9-year-old tutors).
Finish with Mary, Dealers’ Choice – Box cutters, Reverse Box Cutters (Box closers?), J-Lo’s, Low Slow Flutter (Confused Q about what constitutes slow), Elephants on Parade, Crunchy Frog.
Ended with COT.
