15 PAX thought they were ready for Wheezer’s inaugural Q. It immediately went in a different direction as Wheezer had outside motivation driving him today.

As written by Wheezer:

When I was growing up, Sam Shelby was the guy at Estes Hills Elementary.  Whatever the sport, Sam was alpha athlete and great teammate.  You had to be at your best to compete along with or against Sam.  I admired him greatly at that time and he helped me become a better player and more importantly supported me as a friend growing up in Chapel Hill.  Fast forward 30+ years and I admire him more for his kindness.  He is a very special person who has touched so many lives.  My good friend is now competing against cancer up at UNC.  No matter what that vile disease brings I know my friend has both the poise as well as warrior mentality to take it on.  Today I felt his strength when taking the Q for the first time.  Along with the rest of the PAX today, we laid it down Mojo Warrior style for Sam.  The “Shelby” workout is 45 min of nonstop whip and my buddy would not have had it any other way.  Love you bro.
