The PAX consensus was that this weather on a December morning couldn’t be more perfect. Yet apparently the potential for rain (there was none) convinced many in advance that the fartsack was more inviting. Thus, the PAX was small – but a strong corps, nonetheless. Google Image “Merkin” if you dare. The F3 merkin is the polar opposite of the traditional definition and perhaps that’s fitting. We know the merkin as an exercise that is at the heart of every F3 workout. It’s a great strength-building exercise, works well in cadence or OYO, there are many variations, and it sucks to do a ton of them. Again, fitting.
