Twenty four PAX gathered Monday morning on the UNC campus two days after the passing of legendary Tar Heel basketball coach Dean Smith. Though Coach Smith never participated in an F3 workout, one of his favorite sayings lies at the heart of the F3 experience:  “The really free person in society is the one who is disciplined.”

To honor Smith’s legacy and four decades of greatness at Carolina, we knocked out 879 reps (one for each of his wins) in the Four Corners of the IM Field in front of Carmichael Auditorium, where many of his wins where chalked up from the mid 1960s through the mid 1980s.
