17 PAX braved the extreme cold and windy morning to celebrate the final Q of YHC’s 39th birthday week. This was the third Q for the week, so the creative juices were running low at times. Thanks to Wendell Gee for covering the 1 minute I was late. With that said, let’s get started:
SSH – unknown amount covered by Wendell Gee
10 burpees OYO
mozy on down to the tennis courts for 10 good mornings, 16 imperial walkers, 15 mountain climbers and 15 plank jacks.
Followed by 3 sets of suicides on the courts.
Then everyone enjoyed 4 corners of 39 reps of fun at each corner. First set was standard merks, sumo squats, star jumps and WWII’s. Second set was wide grip merkins, American hammers, low slow flutters and prisoner squats.
From there went to the track and broke out into two groups for 3 laps of indian runs.
Then over to the wall for people’s chair at 10 count per man. Remain at the wall for a new exercise I invented called the nose scratcher. It’s a standing, one arm merkin at a 45 degree angle against the wall. 15 reps on each arm. Then 40 seconds of BTW.
From there to the football field for an enjoyable session of Guantanamo. The PAX took stupid pills this morning and couldn’t perform it properly, so we did it 3 times to make sure we got it right.
Remain in circle and perform a regular plank hold for 10 second count per man (nice work on that one).
From there we broke out into two teams. Team one did two laps of indian runs while team 2 went to the pull-up bars for AMRAP pull-ups. Flap jack.
Ended on 39 standard merks.
COT – BRR and MULE info shared. Every site needs Q’s. More good natured ribbing by PAX of YHC’s tardiness (stupid traffic lights). Welcomed FNG UGA (GT graduate and from Florida).
We lost one PAX along the way, but all things considered it was a challenging and enjoyable day. Looking forward to birthday week 40!
Stay warms gents, Peacock
