F3 Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill / –
Once again the Super Bowl of F3, the Ultimate Challenge Mud Run, is upon us. The event is Saturday, April 11th. We want to have a huge contingent from our region. We had about 600 F3 nation pax at the Fall mud run, and are shooting for 700 in the Spring. If you have not participated in this event yet, why not? Yes it’s a challenge, but what better way to usher in the warmer spring weather than by barreling through over 30 obstacles in the mud with your brothers, culminating in some fellowship around the F3 Beer Boat? If Orwell and Wilson can do it, so can you! CSAUP events are integral to F3, and this is one of the best of the year.
Registration is officially open. Follow the link below and register / pay individually, and we will then put together the teams as a region. The registration fee is $55 and the registration deadline is March 1, 2015. If you don’t have a team put together yet, don’t worry about it – go ahead and register and we’ll figure out a team for you later. If you want to bounce team ideas off us, feel free to message Duff or Zima or corner us in the gloom someday.

As always, we will charter a bus to take us down bright and early (time TBD but likely around 3:30-4:00am) on 4/11 and then bring us back after the race. We will need at least 30 riders to make the bus a viable option, and the final cost will depend on the number of riders, but likely in the $40 – $60 range which will allow for some extra for some beverages and snacks on the ride home.
When you list your team on the team sign up page, make sure you also list individual names and your transportation preference (Bus or OYO) on the Participants tab. If you list Bus, then we are counting on you to ride or at least pay your share.
