On Saturday November 11th, the men of F3 Nation will ruck 13.1 miles to honor the men and women who have bravely served our country. This ruck will be in conjunction GoRuck’s Green Beret Foundation Fundraiser. This fundraiser was prompted by the passing of 3 Green Berets in Niger, Africa on October 4th, 2017.
To participate, follow this link, https://www.goruck.com/rucking-for-gbf/ and register. Select the amount of mileage you are pledging to ruck. We’ll do 13.1, but you’re welcome to commit to more. You’ll receive a patch for a $35 donation, and you’ll also be able to purchase a shirt for $30. All proceeds benefit the Green Beret Foundation.
The Thang:
We will meet at Pullen Park at 0500, on Saturday November 11th. It’s encouraged that you bring 20-30lb of weight in your ruck, water, and a shovel flag if you have one. All participants should also have reflective bands on your ruck, or some other reflective gear so that cars will see you.
The pace will be roughly 15 minutes per mile. There will be one or two stops in which we will hear from veterans amongst us. We will aim to be back at Pullen by 9am.
