Saturday morning was absolutely perfect weather for a trip around the neighborhood near Carroll M.S. during the latest installment of Catalyst.  We only had 8 hearty souls but we had O’Douls to push us.  He is but a mere 8 years old but he kept up a pretty brisk pace.  In any event, here’s how it went in general (my mind’s a bit foggy on some of the details):
Warmup:
50 single count merkins.

Head out into the neighborhood
First stop – 30 SSH
Various other stops at intersections along the way with various exercises until we reach Douglas Elementary.

At Douglas Elementary:
Parking lot – crab walk to top of parking lot run back to beginning.
Bear crawl to top of lot and run back
Gorilla to top of lot and run back
Run to long wall for series of dips and merkins
Dips 4 count x 20; incline merkins x 20; decline merkins x 15; dips x 15; irkins x 12; derkins x 12 (or something like this)
Head to track and partner up
Partner one runs lap on track while partner two does LBCs – keep flapjacking until total count of 200
Same thing with merkins until total count of 100
Leave Douglas Elementary

Run back stopping at various intersections for Mary on the run with Hammers x 40; LBCs x 40, etc.
On run up Reynolds Dr we ran backwards and did broad jump for last 20 yards or so.  At that point it was tiring.

Eventually we made it back to Carroll MS with just enough time to hit the stairs for stairbarrows
Partner stairbarrow up w/ 10 stairbarrow merkins at top and run around ramp with flapjack’; repeat

I think that was it!

Thanks for the guys that posted and made the workout fun.  TClaps to O’Douls (Wylie Overhousler) for sticking with us as we covered some ground today.  Encourage everyone to bring their 2.0s out occasionally.  Hopefully, when there 50 they can say they’ve been doing F3 for 42 years.
