Fresh out of Q school, YHC was eager to show 15 PAX what he’d learned. About time, right?
No disclaimers, no more waiting for the watch to sync, we have things to do. Jog to the top of speed bump hill and into parking lot on the left. Avoid being run over by Fluoride barreling in at high speed.
COP
- Side Straddle Hops x25 IC, a little slow for Banjo’s taste. Q-School take-away #1: slow counts are good, according to Maize.

COP location is the hub. Every time you come back here, do 10x merkins. Practice round so everyone builds the muscle memory.
Run down to bottom of power line hill. 10 burpees OYO. Run back up, circle back at the top to pick up the 6, then back to the hub and do your merkins.
Run over to playground, do 10x pull-ups, 10x sumo squat jumps, run back to the hub, pick up 6, merkins.
Q explained that those were 2 of the 3 spokes; the third was to run back down to the basketball courts and on the stone benches do 10x L/R step-ups and 10x dips. Not enough room for all of us so they’d have to work it out for themselves.
Previous count-off-by-3’s remembered by most; 1’s started on burpees, 2’s on pull-ups, 3’s on ALRSU. Rotate through stations repeatedly until time called.
I think all PAX managed to get 2-1/3 rotations (not counting practice round) in before YHC called time and we headed back to the basketball courts after some plank-o-rama.
At courts, line up, partner up. P1 people’s chair while P2 does a suicide, run out, backwards run back, 4 stops. Flapjack.

- Boat/canoe lasted until Burt tried to make me laugh and bust a gut muscle. Something about proper coffee/deuce ratios. I tried to block it out as long as possible.
