Thirteen PAX braved the cold and snowy, icy roads to make it to Fetzer Field early Monday morning.
Fortunately Navy Field had been plowed and cleared and provided an ideal venue for a simple yet effective beatdown. For half the workout the only light we had was a glorious full moon, which illuminated the snow around the field. Some kind soul (or maybe an automatic timer) lit the field halfway through so that everyone could clearly see Beano kicking our arses in every rep.
After a warmup of SSH, IW, arm circles, squats, CDD and merkins, the PAX proceeded to one end zone of the football field for a circuit of 10 each squats, merkins, WWII sit-ups and burpees.
Sprint to far end zone, repeat.
Times 10 for a total of 100 reps of each exercise. Some bear crawls, walking lunges, double-merkin burpees and mountain-climber burpees were mixed in just to keep the PAX focused. In the end, no frostbite was reported and 13 PAX had their weeks off to a damn good start.
