With central NC recovering from the typical once/twice per year winter storm, 7 brave souls gathered while the rest of South Wake hit the snooze button.  YHC determined the track was too icy for safe running, so we made our own track on the upper field.  With no FNGs in sight and a light crowd, South Wake hit the ground running (literally) and started another week off strong.

Warm Up:

The Thang:

  • Merkin Applesauce at Upper Field for 1 Mile (Last Runner Does 5 Pushups then Run to the Front of the Line)
  • In honor of the Panther’s Super Bowl appearance, we blared the Panther hype motivational video while each man did 30 Burpees and 60 Merkins OYO (And some made brownies in the woods).

Partner Up next to tennis courts…

  • 100 Squats while partner runs around circle at playground.
  • 100 WW1 Situps / Partner Runs
  • 50 Burpees / Partner Runs

  • V-Hold for 12 Count In Cadence

Moleskin: The Bull was postponed to March 12, so anyone who wants to sign up still can.  Discussions are starting to progress about the South Wake CSAUP event/brewery tour and next steps (set a date, plot a course, schedule an F2 event to plan it).  Prayers to those who still don’t have power and those unspoken.
