Although YHC’s birthday was not for a few days, this was this last AO he would post before the big day. Accordingly, the PAX would find themselves assaulted by a series of sets with the the theme of “35”. See below for the fun.

Warmup (10 min)

  • Quick lap around the parking lot
  • Circle up on BIG basketball court for quick warmup (5 exercises X 7 = 35)
  • SSH X 7
  • Good morning X 7
  • Imperial Walker X 7
  • Mtn Climbers X 7
  • Plank Jack X 7
  • Quick Birthday Set:
  • Std Merkins X 35
  • Squats X 35 (optional)
  • LBC X 35 (optional)

Tha Thang (30 min)

  • Mosey over to playground basketball set
  • Split into 2 groups (depending on size of PAX):
    • Group 1 – Take off running the loop (0.25 mi), do the following upon your return; Plank it out while everyone finishes;
    • Group 2 – Start with exercises, then run the loop; Plank it out while everyone finishes.
  • Do five laps of the following:
  • Standard Squat X 7 X 5 laps = 35
  • Standard Merkin X 7 X 5 laps = 35
  • WWII Situp X 7 X 5 laps = 35
  • Sumo Squat Jump X 7 X 5 laps = 35
  • Diamond merkin X 7 X 5 laps = 35
  • Mosey to the bottom of the Glen Eden Hill for laps (time permitting) up/down the hill. As a group, run up the hill stopping at each streetlight to do 7 reps of an exercise, as called by YHC. Squat-hold at the top until everyone finishes. Fellowship pace back down between laps. There should be 5 light poles (including the one at the very top). 7 reps X 5 light poles = 35
    • Lap 1 – Hand-release Merkins
    • Lap 2 – Mountain Climbers
    • Lap 3 – Burpees
  • Indian run (2 groups) back to the parking lot for Mary.

Mary (5 min)

  • 5 exercises X 7 = 35
  • WWII X 7
  • LBC X 7
  • Freddy Mercury X 7
  • Low-slow-flutter X 7
  • American Hammer X 7
