Seven PAX convened on a drizzly Monday morning, the second day of 2017, to begin working off holiday accumulations to the waistline. It was a terrific start to the New Year, despite cool temperatures and a steady rain.
The Thang:
Warmup of SSH x 15, Squats x 10, Air Circles x 10, Merkins x 10.
Jog to Cobb Parking Deck on UNC campus, sprint up each of eight lengths of the four levels, pausing at each turn for merkins x 10, x 12, x 14, x 16, x 18, x 20, x 22.
Then 15 burpees and walking lunges down the stairs. Run up the four levels of the deck at your own pace and SSH at the top until everyone is finished.
Then we made our way back down with a variety of bear crawls, high-knees, karaokes, and walking lunges to the botton, pausing after every length for an assortment of diamond merkins, wide-grip merkins, LBCs, Freddie Mercuries, long slow flutters, burpees, double-merkin burpees, WWII sit-ups, bows-to-toes planks, Parker-Peters and Carolina dry docks.
Jog back to Eddie Smith Fieldhouse for COT and one F3 workout down for the New Year.
