14 PAX gathered outside the gate of Apex Community Park this morning to battle the elements. With Cheddar Bo still struggling to get moving after his big new year’s celebration, he did not make it in time to unlock the gate. So we are rewarded with a nice run into the park. 48 degrees and steady rain. No FNG’s and Flip Flop fresh off the DL, off we went.
Warm-up – Jog to the back parking lot. Circle up for 20 SSH, 10 GM, 20 Plank-jacks, 10 IW, 20 Mtn Climbers, 20 merkins.
The Thang – Head back to the big hill for a set of 7’s. Clurpees at the top, diamond merkins at the bottom. Plank hold when finished, 20 plank-jacks.
Now over to the Large Shelter for 20 dips, 20 ALRSU, 20 derkins, 20 box jumps. Repeato for a second round.
Partner up. Opposite direction run around the circle parking lot. 1st meeting – 10 Bropees, 2nd meeting – 10 partner merkins. Repeato until you have completed 3 sets of each. Plank hold and 20 Mtn Climbers.
Fellowship jog back to the front parking lot for 20 LBCs IC and 20 low slow flutters IC.
COT – Count-o-rama (Hermes was NINE) – 14, name-o-rama, 4 RESPECTS, 10 meh.

– Term Paper noted that YHC has been bringing the rain lately.
– In my defense, rain is pretty typical at A-Team. So I can only apologize for BO last week.
– I really can’t believe that this is my first Q at A-Team. This was the site of my first post Nov 2014, so I do apologize it took this long.
– I guess the website structure keeps me scanning Cary workouts for Q needs and I forget to go down to the Apex workouts.
– I guess Apex has 2 workouts now, but I think the other one is closer to Pittsboro.
– Hermes was 9 in COT count-o-rama. It was not intentional but let’s keep that going in 2017.
– My hope was to use clurpees to slow Banjo down, it did not work.
– Burt looked like the Gorton’s Fish Stick guy with his rain slicker.
– Good to have FlipFlop back.
– Very much looking forward to another year in the gloom!
