My Gawd it was humid this morning – again. You gotta love central NC in the summer. No? Well you gotta love working out in central NC in the summer. No? Well, 8 PAX came out and “swam” through what seemed like 100% humidity anyway. Who needs water when you are breathing it? The pain train started at exactly 0545

We first jogged up to the top of the parking lot, joined the path through the woods and down to the road connecting USA Baseball with Thomas Brooks Park. Circle up:
10 x 4-count Good Mornings
10 x IW
10 x plank calf stretches (5 x 4-count on each leg)
10 x Alternationg L/R forward lunges
20 x Seal Jacks

Jog to the bottom of the hill going up to USA Baseball for some Jacob’s Ladder. Up the hill 7 times for burpees, starting with 1 and increasing to 7. At the bottom of the hill each time, do 10 merkins. The hill is not particularly steep, but it is long. I don’t know if it was the mix of PAX or the work, but mumblechatter was almost non-existent. When all PAX finished, plank it out.

Plank-o-rama:
Left arm high
Right arm high
Chill Cut
Left arm / Right leg out
Right arm / Left leg out

Roll over in pool of sweat for 15 x 4-count LBCs, then Indian run back along the road to the shelter for some dips and l/r step-ups:
10 x 4-cound dips
10 x alt l/r step-ups
Repeato
5 pullups on the overhead beams OYO

Jog over to the rock pile. Grab 2 rocks – 1 for each hand – for some Rock Webbs. 4:1 ratio. After the set of 5 rock merkins and 20 rock presses and a lot of grunting, we “paused” for some rock curls, then back down for 6 and 7 (and 24 and 28), followed by another set of rock curls. After carefully replacing our rocks in exactly the same spot and position we found them, we jogged up to the basketball court for 6 minutes of Mary – ’round the circle for 8 exercises. I don’t remember them all, but it included Freddy Mercuries, box cutters, slutters, Banjo’s fave: pillow talk, crunchy frogs, and J-Lo’s.
