On this glorious morning Phil popped out of his hole and immediately started throwing down sets of American Hammers. We took this as a good sign for the remainder of winter.
EC: 6 Pax enjoyed laps around the pond broken up by sets of 5 Pull Ups, 15 Merkins, and 25 Squats on the island. Repeato.
Warm Up: SSHs, Merkins, Good Mornings, and Mountain Climbers.
The Main Event: After the confusing task of counting off by 1s and 2s the Pax took off on an Indian Run from the stone circle to the cul de sac. Here is where Phil joined us for 6 sets of American Hammers, thankfully broken up by 5 sets of Merkins in each variety (Standard, Diamond, Wide Grip, Military, Standard). 15 Hammer’s per set, 10 Merkins per set.
We lined ourselves back up for another Indian Run to the Bell Tower, politely running in front of on-coming traffic while trying to cross the street. A relaxing Burpee Climb on the stairs of the Bell Tower was enjoyed by all. Burpee Climb = Hop up one stair and back down + 1 Burpee, Hop up two stairs and back down + 2 Burpees, etc. Balls to the Tower once completed.
A free range run from the Bell Tower to the Court of the Carolinas was followed by a straight Bear Crawl across the court lengthwise, and a decline plank until everyone was completed. Back to the Indian Run.
We returned to the cul de sac for another couple sets of Hammers and Merkins, and attempted to fit in a set of 11s in the Bowl, but was cut short by YHC’s inability to tell time. An all out sprint back to the stone circle finished us off for the day, and Phil returned to his hole.
