VSF planted for the PAX of 15 in the park & ride at Shelley Lake, more posted than YHC expected….by now I should know better than to underestimate this group. It was around this time 4 years ago when we were launching True Grit after a couple of beta tests, the first Tuesday boot camp in the Raleigh area. Well for 200+ weeks straight guys have gathered there well before dawn + the mystery friend who runs the loop while we’re there. Simple set today….

Naked Moleskin:

-T-claps for the great work on the Holiday Party last night for Vector Victor, Pantyhose & Life Alert. Special ones also go to Orwell & Au Pair for attending….used to be a time when their names were in every BackBlast, so there you go. Little City Brewing proved be a solid location for the social, well done!

-Hard to believe Chong Li got this site up and running 4 years ago….4 years, sheesh. Memorable moments include Money Hose wearing a Marvin the Martian hat, Johnny Utah with Tiki Torches, parking lot COT in pouring rain early March 2013 (if you were there you’ll never forget it), YHC Qing during a lightning storm as thunder neared, carrying kegs in 10 degrees for Zima’s first site Q QIC, Yo Yo demolishing the PAX in a set that ended at the rock pile, Fungo’s 21 Gun Salute, Cinderella’s Partner Carry Loop set, Friar Tuck’s hill set from hell, and the time a large boot camp was in action but just that day….to name a few. Great AO, particularly in the winter with the moonlight on the lake.

-Look for announcements regarding a couple of sites on Dec 26 & Jan 2nd…..might have some cancels but most of the lineup is as is.

-My Precious represented the #respect category strongly this morning and apparently last night as well, Aye! T-claps to MacGruber for his work with Haven House, big success at the dinner last week for the kids who participate in the program. T-claps to Kiper showing his speed this morning, nice to see Fava Bean take a break from Oxford for a change.

-Lots of growth in F3 Raleigh over the years, True Grit was the 1st Tuesday workout in the lineup. Back then 100 total posts across all workouts for the week was a goal. A peer led servant model fueled by leadership rotation as concentric circles grow outward while inner circles grow tighter treating each other with mutual admiration and imposing accountability. While we’re all widely different people and from the outside likely doesn’t appear to all fit there is a core component tying it all together….an elevated respect for the lives of others. Another rotation of leadership is in motion now, Vector Victor & Life Alert are transitioning to the point people for the Raleigh PAX as they enlist the help of guys like Pepe & Pantyhose. Neighboring communities like South Wake & Cary have grown into Nomad status with their own leadership groups forming as well. All the while the Mission continues, our next step forward is tomorrow.
