After providing what was described by our legal council Sir Fazio and Moneyhose as the worst death waiver disclosure they’ve ever heard and that it wouldn’t even hold up with Judge Judy, the Q regained his composure and the beatdown began….

The Thang

Warm up:  25 burpees (got a lot of groans from this warm up selection)

  • 20 Prisoner squats
  • Sprint whole length of Pit, flapjack back to start

Recover on the run

  • 20 TD Merkins

Recover on the run to the picnic shelter

  • Reverse jump ups (start on top of the picnic table bench, jump down then back up…this didn’t work as well as planned so we only went to 10)
  • Dips x 25
  • Irkins with a clap x 20 – 10 count low hold at the end
  • Derkins x 15 – 10 count low hold at the end

50 yard sled run

Pax broke up into two groups with each positioned at the other end of our marked 50 yard football field.  One pax from would push a weighted sled from one end to the other while the two groups were performing dealers choice exercises.  Once the sled pax reached the end of the 50 yards, he would join the ongoing dealers choice group while a pax from that group would switch and push the sled, returning it to the origional group.  We did this until each pax had the opportunity to complete the sled run.  Dealers choice included but not limited too:  Single leg dead lifts, merkins, squats, lunges, Russian hammers, plank jacks, diamond merkins, etc, etc, etc

COT

 Naked Moleskin:

  • Note to Q…If needing a 10 count on a hard to accomplish exercise…Myrtle might not be the best option
  • Contrats to all Pax in attendance as we set a ZH record with 20 including 1 FNG
  • As always, The Pit humbles us all .  I remember overhearing Utah mention something to the extent of…”It feels like I’m running but not going anywhere.” I think we can all 2nd that.
  • 2nd F gathers this upcoming Thursday at the PR.
  • Mule is coming up on Oct 5, not the 3rd, starts at Pullen
  • Good to see several of my GoRuck Nasty brethren in attendance.  I know I’m a little dinged up from various obstacles and glad ya’ll could make it.
