To wrap up a week of Q’s celebrating 3 years in the gloom (which is today 14-May!), I shifted our focus to the internal battle that we face each day – pushing ourselves to get better, faster, stronger. What’s great about a circuit, especially when the circuit is a loop, is that even though you’re “pushing yourself”, you’re still going to pass your brothers and offer words of encouragement. The goal of today was to set a baseline of where we’re all at. In a few months, we’ll run this back and everyone will have the chance to reflect on progress (hopefully forward progress!)

The Warmup:

15 SSH

10 Good Mornings

The Thang:

5 Burpees

10 Left Right Stepups (under shelter)

20 OYO People’s Chair (some PAX did Balls to the Wall because I wrote that down with chalk)

25 Dying Cockroaches

30 Irkins

35 Squats

40 Rock Curls

We did loop 1 as a collective unit to get everyone comfortable with the course. After we got back to the AO, everyone took off at their own pace.

Great work by all men at the Inaugural Juggernaut Fitness Test.

COT: YHC shared stories about my life prior to F3, how I was EH’d (thanks Lurch!), and what this organization and group of men means to me each and every day. I also shared some exciting life news about moving to a townhouse in Cary (*gasp!* – don’t worry F3 Raleigh PAX, I’ll still be coming to Raleigh beatdowns often. But excited to connect with Carpex PAX as well!) I often reflect on how my life could be different without F3. Once those thoughts start crossing my mind, I quickly chuckle, shake my head, and thank God for giving me this opportunity to join. I would not be the man I am today without F3. Each and every day I try to share that with other men, some of whom haven’t found this community of F3 yet. We have a lot of work to do, but all we can do is take it one step at a time.
