YHC pulled into the NCAM this morning with a massive crowd waiting for me. Turns out there was some secret society ruck workout that decided to launch at the exact same time, at the exact same AO, and at the exact same launch point as Whiplash. There were book-bags, dogs, headlamps, high fives, butt grabs, you name it. Anywho, Whiplash PAX were ready to get after it and we quickly separated ourselves from the ruckus to avoid contamination and confrontation.

Moleskin:

-Beautiful morning at the NCAM. Busted it for the first 15 minutes to get us warmed up and the heart rate going. Tried to mimic the King David/Wendell Gee concept of getting roughed up the first part of the workout, so you’re in survival mode the remainder of the workout. I think the mission was accomplished. Was a fun group this AM that helped push one another. We covered some ground with the intent to hit up a lot of the not so fun tracks. Felt like the workout should have been over after the horrific climb back up to the higher ground, but still had plenty of time unfortunately. Red Card and Grease Monkey pulled away from the rest of the pax on the Esau’s ladder. Lots of mumble chatter during this part, but made it back to the parking lot right at 7:30. Was a pleasure to lead and look forward to Qing out here again sometime soon.
