I did not remember just how brutal this test was.  I believe everyone got farther than we did 3 months ago – but YHC may have let the clock run longer. Lack of quality control meant more pain today.

There was talk by several of the PAX about spending a few hours one weekend completing a Kettlebell Ultra – all of the exercises in the circuit for time. We’ll look for a time after the PAX are done with the GORUCK.

This was State Farm’s first kettlebell workout. Outstanding. You picked a tough one.

Pygmy texted afterward that 2.0 responsibilities prevented him from joining us in person, but he did complete the workout on his own, which would take even more mental stamina and toughness.

In COT, the theme was mental toughness and post traumatic growth.  When people go through trauma, even severe trauma, they do not necessarily dry up and blow away. Some go through the experience and discover that they are stronger than they ever believed, more capable, their trust in God or in others is stronger. YHC wrote about this topic in detail this week on Psychology Today: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/luminous-things/201510/resilience-growth-kintsukuroi  Please read it, comment, and share with those who you think could use it.

Prayers and announcements: Including Yoga, Thursday 5:45 a.m. at the Lassiter Mill waterfall.

In closing, Invisible Shirt was as strong with his words as he was with his Kettlebell.

Humbly and Graciously,

Cut Me Mick
