A PAX of 13 made their way out for another fun day at The Vortex.

Warm-Up: Lap around the field followed by: SSH, WMH, Arm Circles, Mt Climbers and Merkins

After a short jog to the play ground the Vortex has come to love so much, we split into groups of two (and one group of three) for some circuits: Pull ups, Pike-Merkins, Rows, Dry Docks, Box Jumps and Dips

With our arms feeling good, we returned to the field for some cinderblock and animal crawls:

Round 1: Bear Crawl width of one soccer field –> 10 Squat presses with cinder block –> bunny hop second field and sprint back. Other team member completed a round of jump lunges and SSH. Switch at repeat

Round 2: Panther crawl –> 15 shoulder presses –> duck walk. Other team merkins and air squats switch at repeat

To finish out the day YHC had what was thought to be a good idea. Turns out it could use some editing. Three PAX would run with cinderblocks the length of the soccer field, while the rest of the PAX begins to Bear Crawl. Once the cinderblocks caught the group, they would be passed off and off on a run again. Once the PAX reached the end of the soccer field, we reversed into a Crawl Bear until everyone had a turn on the cinderblocks.

A recovery indian run followed by one last field sprint rounded things out and lead into Mary.
