13 pax braved the maiden Q by Tuco and YHC at the House of Pain including 1 FNG. Welcome Lexington! As the pax found out, this AO has LOTS of opportunities for some serious beat downs.

Tuco led warm up:

Indian Run around the church followed by good mornings, arm circles, merkins, & mountain climbers.

3 groups:

  • Group 1: 50 yard log carry up hill, 10 overhead log presses, 20 carolina dry docks
  • Group 2: travelling burpees to the same location as log group, 20 carolina dry docks
  • Group 3: 10 blockees (cinder block burpees), 50 yard bear crawl up across & down the hill, 20 merkins, bear crawl back, 10 blockees.

*1 group had 5 pax so they carried the log back down the hill and finished with 15 log curls

Tuco hands Q to YHC for 2nd half of the beat down. Grab retired railroad track courtesy of Choo-Choo who was much missed this morning, get better brother! Carry railroad steel, and log to the building.

3 groups:

Round 1

  • Group 1: sprint around the church building
  • Group 2: carrying steel run through the pit of doom, bear crawl with steel out of the pit and around the perimeter back to group 3.
  • Group 3: wall sits with the log resting on their now screaming thighs. (we know iron sharpens iron, but what about wood…)

Round 2

  • Group 1: lung walk up the hill of the back parking lot, sprint back
  • Group 2: same as round 1
  • Group 3: overhead presses with the log. (one group got cocky here and was rewarded with the log carry back to its resting place for next week.)

Mary (in cadence):

  • 20 LBC
  • 20 Freddy Mercury
  • 20 Flutter kicks

COT

Moleskin:

  • Welcome FNG Lexington! Hailing from Wilson NC and with a love for bourbon/craft beer the pax struggled between prohibition and Lexington. He says he will be back, time will tell…
  • Bring gloves to House of Pain. Thanks to Choo-Choo we have some awesome, gnarly, & rusty gear that is very heavy. Don’t want your M complaining about your shredded hands when you get home and hold her while crying from the HoP beat down.
