The next session of “Uncommon Bonds” is scheduled for Saturday March 23rd, 2024 at Neighbor to Neighbor’s campus at 1200 S. Blount St. We’ll start at 9am, so plan to stay a couple of hours to Noon at the latest or as long as our featured speaker’s remarks and following conversation continue.
This will continue our intentional, vulnerable discussions on relationship with our friends by recognizing our common adversities and challenges. We all struggle to build friendships that fortify our spirits and persist amidst competing obligations of jobs, families, and time. How do we pursue and create relationships with other men that aren’t transactional but are truly transformative and strengthening? The answer is to join other men and hear their stories and know that you’re not going through the trials of life alone.
These sessions are opportunities to hear our fellow Pax ruminate on times of stress and perseverance and how they used their inner fortitude, family, friends, and faith to overcome or at least maintain a healthy balance with it. Think of these discussions similar to testimonies where we listen to their stories and all reflect on our common sorrows and joys. What results is a remarkable event of fortification and strengthening of bonds together.
