So today was the perfect day for a work out…it was a nice cool morning out at Ground N Pound.  7 pax gathered bringing the largest numbers at Ground N Pound in a while.  The first time YHC came to Ground N Pound Pergo had the group do 105 burpees.  It only felt right to try and set a new high.  Ready set here we go

Warmup

Light jog down the road a little bit, 25 SSH, 25 Imperial Walkers, 10 burpees OYO, 20 Good Mornings, and 10 burpees OYO.  Are you keeping count, 20 burpees down and many more to go.

The work out

Modified 11s a very short run to the gate stop for 25 burpees, jog back to the sign and 5 squats.  Back to the gate for 20 burpees follow by 10 squats at the sign.  This continued until the PAX did 5 burpees and 25 squats.  Cooled down with a plank hold.

The burpee count is now 95 in 20 minutes…ouch, way to much too fast.

Now the group jogged to the baseball diamond to run the bases 4 times with merkins and squats in between each lap around the bases.  Finished with plank hold and 10 more burpees.

The burpee count is now 105, we should be done right?

To the rock pile, grab a rock and yes size matters.  Another set of the modified 11s this time were are doing curls and overhead press.

Finally the group jogged back to the parking lot, throw in some bear crawls and 10 more burpees then onto Mary.

Final burpee count was 115, there were some complaint about our last set.  “One would have set a new high, but YHC was to shatter the previous mark.

25 LBC, 25 heel touches, 20 WWII sit ups, 15 Heels to heavens

Good work out, it was definitely a lot harder than YHC has anticipated.
