15 PAX descended on a humid, post thunderstorm morning in the gloom. Rumors of FNG’s posting were realized at 0530 as the PAX welcomed later to be named Foot Fault and Troller.

The warm up:
SSH x 25
Windmill x 20 Good Morning x 10 Arm Circles x 10 Reverse x 10

YHC thought it was appropriate given the recent thunderstorms for the first exercise of the morning to be ‘Thunderstruck’ merkins. After 5 minutes of continuous planking, numerous merkins, and burning shoulders the PAX recovered to a half mile jog down the Tobacco Trail.

The PAX separated into 2 groups: Group 1: headed to the playground for 3 sets of pull-ups x 10, dips x 20, Carolina dry docks x 20 and Australian pull ups x 20. Group 2: performed 2 sets of traveling burpees up a hill (approximately 50 yds) with recovery jogs in between. The groups then swapped places and did the same (or similar) exercises.

As daylight emerged and time was running out the PAX headed to the soccer field for a modified death merkin crawl. Three teams of 5 were charged to move a 35 lb weight down the length of the soccer field and back while crawling. As the first PAX was crawling and moving the weight, the second PAX sprinted the length of the field and when they reached the weight they relieved the ‘crawler’ the other 3 team members were resting by doing SSH, merkins and air squats on the end line. The team members rotated through these exercises as the weight traveled down the field and back.

Welcome FNG’s — Foot Fault and Troller No time for Mary!
