Wow. What a week it’s been for anniversary celebrations. Friday night we started last weekend with the Grateful Dead kicking off a three night run in Chicago to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Then, on Saturday our nation celebrated America’s 239th birthday. And to end the week of festivities, the PAX are invited to join me at the Judge for my F3 one year anniversary party.
To keep the party going, the best thing I could think of for the Judge would be a race. So I went back to the R&D Department (R&D means “Replicate and Duplicate) and pulled a Q Denali led a few months ago that made Panty Hose dry heave, if not spill merlot.
So partner up and bring your best at 5:30. The workout details are below. Hope to see you there.
Partner up
-Run the Blue loop around the Dojo and veer off toward the amphitheater (about a mile)
-Near the dock at the lake (25 merkins, 25 LBCs, and 25 squats)
-Run up to the amphitheater – Bear crawl down the first staircase you hit running up the hill
-Do 25 star jumps in the mosh pit and bear crawl up the stairs closet to the NC Museum of Art (all the way to the top – not halfway)
-At the top of the stairs, run to the parking lot where they used to park the fancy cars (where we sometimes do Mary) and do the exercises (25 Carolina Dry Dock, 25 Freddie Mercury, and 25 jumping lunges).
-Run back down to the dock past the amphitheater on your way down (don’t go back around the blue loop).
-Rinse and repeat. Four times total. First team back wins! Leads Mary & gets a virtual trophy.
See you at 5:30 at the NCMA.
