YHC received a call from Arena faithful Epoxy in route to Pullen that contrary to his earlier assumption, he would attend , and that not only would he be there but he would Q the meat of the workout for the day.  With his agility ladders and cones distributed between 3 pax rucks, and one more pax in tow, we were off.

The heat was evident, the air was moist, and the pace was fellowship. With a stop at the state gas pumps to set the work for the day out, we were soon gathered to Duff planting the SF in THP courtyard.

With 10 or so minutes to spare we began to lobby the men of THP.  Torch was nowhere in sight, but Toy Story was excited and soon Butane and Brand New were ready too.  Rounded out with Greenwood, Dynomite, and Big Poppy, and a few Raleigh pax, we were off.

Warm-ups: SSH x 15, Good Afternoons x 15, IW x 15, Mericans x 10

Follow Epoxy to the Gas Pumps, divide into two groups, group 1 ladders and cones, group 2 rocks across the street, 5 minutes than swap.  Next set 3 minutes and switch.

Back to the courtyard for some shade and COT, Done!

Vector Victor prayed for us all.

The Skin:

It was hot, and all who came knew it, T-claps to the men who pushed till good and uncomfortable.  This was the theme in COT, nothing worth having is easy, just like their recovery is a rough road, so are most things God gives us.  But His word tell us that when we are weak, then we find strength, His strength.

Two shirts were given today, Butane and Brand New, it’s great to see these men stepping up and ready to work in the heat.  Dynomite was back and continues to ask for prayers on getting a new leg, one that he can keep up with the pax a little better with, something made for him.  Toy Story slid out a few minutes early due to the heat, we hope to have a water cooler next time.

Solid work by the Raleigh pax, great to see Gypsy Danger back out after the new baby.  VV as always is a beast, next free day at THP we hope to get him on the court to show those men what the Pack has to offer. Screech is always a welcome addition and he’ll soon have us beating tires with sledge hammers.  A huge thanks to Epoxy for stepping in last minute to co Q, never a dull moment when he’s around.

CW Out!
