14 PAX showed up for Brick’s second q on a warm and extremely muggy Tuesday morning. By the end, the PAX were all quite sodden.

  • 1 lap around soccer fields
  • SSH x 15
  • Good morning x 12
  • Willie Mays Hayes x 12
  • Windmills x 12
  • Arm circles x 10
  • Reverse arm circles x 10
  • Merkin’s x 15
  • Air Squats  x 12

The Thang

Mosey to the playground. Split into 7 groups of 2 for two circuits of pain. Rotate counter clockwise after Twosome 1 completes pull-ups:

  • Twosome 1:  20 pull-ups each for circuit 1. Circuit 2 – 15 pull-ups.
  • Other 6 twosomes do the following while twosome 1 cranks out their pull-ups:
    Jump squats
    Inverted Rows on swings
    Wide-grip merkins
    Carolina drydocks
    Dips
    Derkins

Not a bad second q. Definitely better than the first. Great turnout for The Vortex. Solid group of 14 men, 10 more than my first Q 3 weeks ago.
