YHC was awoken at 4:00 by a combination of his youngest 2.0, the pouring rain, and anticipation for his maiden Q.  Considered taking the 2.0 to post in the rain, but let him go back to his fartsack.

Conditions at the AO were 57 degrees and a slow and steady rain.  Standing water throughout.  Decided to concentrate the thang under the covered bus line.

The Thang

Partner up.  One partner people’s chair, other partner does one of the following, then flapjack through the series: (a) bear crawl to end of covered area, 10 burpees, bear crawl back; (b) lunge walk to end, 10 Carolina dry (wet) docks, lunge walk back, (c) King David kick there, 10 monkey humpers, King David back, (d) bear crawl, 10 burpees, bear crawl, (e) crab walk, 10 Carolina dry docks, crab walk.

Pick a column for the usual upstairs workout.  Lacking benches, the PAX incorporated a lunchroom table that was sturdier than it looked- able to support the weight of 6 PAX for dips, provided we moved in cadence.

Irkins, Dips, Merkins, Squats.  Sets of 15 each, then 12 each then 10.  Considered an 8 set but pushing time.

Ab-o-rama:  Homer to Marge pyramid to 15 by 5, American Hammer x20, Freddie Mercury x20, LBC pyramid to 15 by 5.

Plankorama for Mary:  regular, left up, regular, right up, regular for 10 count around the group.

Personal note from the Q- Before starting F3, there was no way I’d get up predawn for a workout if it was raining, much less an outside workout, and definitely not to lead a workout.  Sincere thanks to the F3 brothers that pushed me to start and push me to continue.  AYE!
