Last night I asked Siri what the weather would be like in the gloom.  She told me I’d need an umbrella so, as the prepared YHC that I am, I planned a doom gloom #beatdown that would be housed under the FOD shelters.

No one likes a cold and rainy morning, especially in during coming months, so I expected a faithful PAX of about 6 to appear.

Here’s the thing though…  Siri don’t know JACK!

FOD was 60 and breezy with 20 PAX (1 site Q) ready to roll!!!!!

With a slight internal modification to today’s Thang, we were off as close to on time as I could.  My watch died but Callahan was there so pretty sure it was 0545 or sometime there after…

Here’s how it works:  There are 10 excercises.  Run from shelter to shelter doing the exercises incrementally adding another excercise to your set.
For example.  First was Merkins.  Do 10 merkins and run to the other shelter.  When you get there do 10 Merkins and now add in 10 Squats.  After 5 laps you will be doing 10 exercises of 10 reps each.

It kinda sucked…

  • Great to see 20 PAX when the weather was supposed to be bad.  How many of ya’ll looked out the window before making your decision to go though?  Asking for a friend.
  • Q with no watch sucks.
  • Seemed like a tough workout.  Lots of whining put a smile on my face
  • Those thoroughbreds out front…man.  Always making it hard on the Q to keep them busy the whole time, sheesh!!
  • Great push by the guys in the back to get it completed.  Ya’ll rocked it.
  • Why did I not notice I put dips, derkins, and cdds all back to back?? Arms couldn’t hold on for the Aussie Mtn Climbers there at the end… ouch.

I’m out the rest of the week until My Q on Friday.  Work is giving me a beatdown now and I need to work late these next few nights.  Hate to miss out…
