As Raleigh was preparing for Snowpocalypse 2017, YHC noticed some familiar background in the morning edition of Weather Center, Cantore himself was stirring the pot with the newly elected Governor on Dix Hill, insisting that a decision to shut interstate traffic down would be eminent by the next morning. Well we see how that worked out.
We started from HT courtyard and made our way in the freezing weather to the field behind the gas pumps. YHC informed pax we would be on the hunt for Cantore, surely he didn’t have anything better to do than hang in Raleigh for the day, possibly waiting to wet himself a little at the sound of thunder snow.
Warm-ups, got the afternoon work started, then we made our way up Dix campus in search of the hill and of course Cantore himself. We made many stops along the way for merkins and burpees with a few squats mixed in. Once at the hill and no Cantore we headed to the bottom. Upon arrival Duff informed YHC that this was the scene of the previous 2 HT pax led beat downs from Frydaddy and Texas Pete. YHC not wanting to be one upped headed to the steep part and called for some hill work.
Once completed we made our way back to HT campus to finish things off. Cantore was nowhere to be found and it was time to go get what was left of the french toast fixins at the super market.
We had a shirt awarded and 1 fng, 10 pax to the best of YHC’s memory. Always great to be back to the Arena after a few weeks away, it’s just real out there!
