The title exhibits a fairly common misconception held by a small number of the Raleigh PAX. Orwell just happens to be the one that has asked the question multiple times. Every time, he tells YHC that I need to make up a better story about the arbitrary reasoning behind YHC’s F3 moniker. Apparently Wendell Gee sat on that name, waiting for some random smo to pin it on, for the better part of a year. And thus, YHC has been so named for 1 year in the gloom.

SF planted. Chong is snuggied safe in his California fartsack, recovering from quite the weekend endeavor. Well done sir. Well done. 22 PAX at the ready. 5:45 roll out.

Warm-up:

Jog to the upper parking lot, by the house of cats, across the glade, and down the hill. On the line at the base of the hill.

The Thang:

Au Pair immediately objects to not having a proper warm-up school circle. “You should have warmed up before we started” – YHC.

  • 9/11 stair climb at FloodZone (Crabtree Valley Mall)
  • Labor Day convergences at Catalyst, Zero Hour, and Agoge
  • Challenge another man to be dangerous. Push him outside of his comfort zone. As YHC has discovered, this is the essence of F3. 21 PAX pushed YHC to craft a tough set this week. Honored and humbled to share the field with you.
  • Fluoride took us out.

NMM

  • There’s nothing like starting out with a tough set right out of the gate. Kind of like a good punch in the throat. Shock value, pure shock value. “What are you people?”
