The PAX assembled for the twice weekly workout, aptly named Hopebuilder, by Maize. Dufresne shared a new physical therapy workout tool to the mix last week and with Fazio’s assistance we dubbed it…Animal. The photo helps explain it. Since Dufresne is so committed to the work and in the spirit of one pushing another, here’s a video illustrating a little friendly competition.

Leg Presses – Left and Right Legs, sets of 10 x 4
Leg Lifts – Left and Right Legs, sets of 10 x 4
Leg Rolls – Left and Right Legs, sets of 10 x 4
Leg Holds – Left and Right Legs, sets of 10 x 4
Core Sit Ups – 10 count x 7
Elbow/Bicep Squeezes – Left and Right Arms, sets of 15 x 2
Diamond Arm Push – sets of 10 x 2

Prayers for strength for Dufresne, his family, and healing as he works to bear weight on his legs. Goal is to be able to stand with assistance, bearing weight on his legs, by February 2014.
