In its first non-beta week, newly christened TAHOE (for its abundance of the vehicle AND its elevation changes) brought in a strong crowd of 11 PAX. A close second in naming, “the home of the invisible shirt” clunked due to length, but not aptness this AM. The pioneering workout for runners who like nothing more than a coating of sweat to wear above the waist, there were real live cat calls en route to station 1 pre-6am.
Tha thang: High pace mozy from Panera to Captrust parking deck. Run up the stairs to the top: 5x good mornings, 5x windmill – you’re ready (more or less). Station 1- Start with 15 Merkins at the top, run down the ramps and up the stairs decreasing by 1 Merkin each loop. YHC to call time at his discretion. YHC completed 6 circuits and was one lap behind the lead group when time was called.
For you junkies trying to figure out just how horrible this was for the front runners here’s the math: There are 8 levels of parking, although the first two levels are each two stories so the total amounts to 92 merkins and 80 flights of stairs for the leaders. #solid
Post station 1- high pace mozy to station 2: Carroll track. not much time here so we had to run just an 800 and a 400.
Then jog back to Panera for some Mary- 20x LBC, 20x flutter kicks, 20x freddie mercury, 5 count 6″ leg hold around the horn.
Announcements: Arena is NEXT week. If you came to this workout you should probably run the BRR (*red card*)
