It was a balmy to start to the week, but nonetheless 11 PAX showed to get their week Kickstarted on the right foot. No FNG’s, so after some mild stretching, we were off with a long jog around the parking lots, fellowship pace.
Warm Up – 15 GM’s, 15 Sir Fazio Arm Circles, 30 Overhead Claps, 15 SFAC’s opposite direction, 30 SSH, 30 Imperial Walkers, 20 Willie Merkins, 15 Carolina Dry Docks, 15 Windmills
Thang I – Stairway to Seven – Line up all the way at the bottom of the grassy hill(this time it was particularly grassy…) One Burpee at the bottom then run to the top of the hill and do One Squat Jump. Run back down the hill and do Two Burpees. Repeato until Seven of each are complete. Plank hold at the bottom until all PAX are accounted for.
Thang II – Bear Crawl up the hill followed by a Crawl Bear back down. Plenty of grass and bugs in our face on this trip!
Thang III – Recover on the run over to the picnic tables. Pick a table and do the following; 20 Dips, 20 Irkins, 20 LF Step Ups, 20 Flutter Kicks, 10 Derkins. Take a break by running over to the wall for People’s Chair – 10 count down the line. Switch to BTTW also for a 10 count each. Back to the picnic tables and Repeato!!
Mary – Dealers choice from the PAX. We had a 10 count on Merkins twice, 10 Bird Dogs(forgot our knee pads…) 10 Freestyle, 10 American Hammers, 10 Worms, and so on and so forth… The clock struck 6:45 and we were ready for COT.
Announcements: PAX were talking about a North Raleigh Six Pack this week. YHC started off good, but already missed #2. I’ll be back on board tomorrow:)
Prayer requests: Continued prayers for Nickleback’s family and my daughter Alex. Prayers for Far Side’s wife having safe traveling to from and Nicaragua and for a long post as Mr. Mom. YHC took us out and was thankful the week was off to such a fantastic start!
