19 Pax at Late Night to reflect on the past and the future.  Regarding the past, we go back 48 years to January 15, 1968.  The night before, the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl II.  On the tragic side, this was the last living birthday for Martin Luther King (he would die April 4, 1968).  Other world events were heating up such as the Tet Offensive which was a mere two weeks away in Vietnam.  The Winter Olympics were about to get cranked up in Grenoble, France where Peggy Fleming won gold in figure skating and Frenchman Jean-Claude Killy dominated the slopes.  In the southeastern Pennsylvania town of York, PA there was a serious snow-storm but that didn’t stop F3 Larry David from popping into the world.  A mere 48 years later, I am the Q at Late Night.  How about that!

Here’s how it went:
Warm up
Chilcutt merkins each arm x 20
SSH x 25
Arm Circles x 15 each direction

Go to bottom of Overbrook Drive for Jacobs Ladder with some spice added as follows:
bear crawl to first street light; then broad jump to next light; then backwards run to next light; then sprint to sign that says “Drop Off Kids Here” (or something like that) and do one burpee
Run back to bottom of hill and repeat seven times with increasing the number of burpees by one each time
I’m not sure how this sounds on paper but it was hard in real life.  Wendell Gee led the way on this one and his performance was quite impressive.

Gather at bottom of nice staircase leading from Oxford up to Lourdes chapel and partner up for stairbarrows with 10 decline merkins at top; followed by run back around Lourdes and repeat

Go to walkway railing along dark path at Lourdes and find spot for decline merkins x 20 low rail; x 20 high rail; x 20 low rail

Go back to parking deck at Lourdes for one quick suicide set in deck

Mary:
Freddy Mercury (standard version) x 20
Freddy mercury with heels touching ground each time x 15

Cheney did a great job taking us out.
