YHC led Late Night just 24 hours prior and got a hard commit from Heartworm to co-Q. this morning we all arrived at Catalyst and who looked like Heartworm arrived. This was not the case and it was a 17 year old FNG. Embarrassingly YHC did not really know what Heartworm looked like, the FNG never corrected the fact that he was being called this and none of the Pax pointed out that this was not Heartworm after announcing his co-Q. Chaos ensued.
- Warm up: world’s greatest stretch into , slow plank and spring ups. 20x ssh. Indian Run to the soccer field and split into two groups “co-Q” led one (grateful for Man Ram who pulled weight in leading).
- The Thang: group 1 pairs up and has one stay behind going through man makers while other sprints a short distance and back. Switch. Change up exercise and do for three rounds. Group 2 did their own version of this. YHC took back control and told the “co-q” he is in charge of merry. He was quick to say okay rather than lead is group. Round everyone up for spring ups and frogging jumps. Low mid and standard plank progressions. Repeato.
- Broke into sets of three. One at far end of track. One at other side and one running in between. Motion circuit with. Man makers, lbc, Freddie mercury, sumo squats and a few others.
- Off to the school wall for people’s chair. Crossed leg hold and then alternating cross legs x 10. Balls to the wall. 5 second count down the line.
- Co-q takes over for merry and battled his way through the cadence count with slow count Freddie mercurys, makhtar gueye and mountain climbers on the wall (he did a good job). Creative.
- Run back to the lot for four corners. 1st round of 20 each: man makers, star jumps, sumo squat and lbc. Round 2 at 15 and round 3 at 10.
