It was a beautiful morning  at Wake Christian, and 3 eager pax got it rolling at the prescribed 5:45. We all were in for a rude awakening as we ran to the back of the campus to the road behind the football stadium.

The Thang:

Run up the hill very slightly to the porta john behind the stadium.

  • Jacobs Ladder to the top of the back entrance to Wake Christian.
  • Burpees at the top of the hill 1-7 on each trip up the hill. Q realized that we had already clocked a mile on the first 3 reps, the longest ladder I had ever seen. Graciously shorted the last four trips up the hill because we had more work ahead.

Run across the field to the back parking lot for our next set of fun.

  • Elevens: running up the hill behind the parking lot.
  • Hand release Mericans at the top 1-10 reps
  • Prisoner Squats at the other end 10-1 reps.

By the time we finished this we were pretty much gassed, but more time remained for fun.

Run up to the picnic tables

  • Right Left Step Ups 10 reps
  • Dips 10 reps
  • Irkins 10 reps
  • Repeto 10 reps each.

Run back to the cars:

  • LBC  20 reps
  • American Hammers 20 reps
