YHC humbly did his best to fill Floyd’s shoes as he was away on vacation. With the early 2015 version of Floyd, this would have been a piece of cake – Floyd plank for 35 minutes, jog around the field, then bring it home strong with Mary. The late 2015/early 2016 Floyd provides a much more difficult task. 5:32A, so here we go…

the thang:
Jog over to ATC, heading towards road crossing and pull up bars. High knees, flutters, walking lunge, etc. mix-up as we travel the quarter mile to our destination. Lots of mumble chatter about how this better not turn into another ChaChi-lead FiA workout. Cross the road, pull up bars in sight. With headlamp illuminating the bars, the PAX when to work…
Groups of 2 — 20 pull ups; all the while, PAX are doing burpees. First set, single merkin burpees, second set, double merkin burpees, third set, triple merkin burpees, you get the point. After all PAX are complete pull ups, go in reverse (5 merkin burpees, 4, 3, 2, etc.) while PAX in sets of 2 complete 15 hanging knee tucks.
Feeling thoroughly shredded, PAX headed back on ATC towards the field when they nearly run over Nails who was dressed all in black while doing a full sprint. Since Nails missed the burpee fun, we immediately hit 20 burpees. Reach the cut through back to the park and YHC decides it’s time to bear crawl — all the way back to the field house. PAX plank it out until everyone arrives.
