The Thang

Mosey a lap around the parking lot (long loop), followed by another lap (short loop), then circle-up.

Baseball Field

Mosey to the rock pile down the hill towards the entrance of park and grab a rock

Kickback

Mosey to the field down the greenway and below the baseball fields for a little game of kickback (beta test of the F3 version).  Kickback was a staple of the family gatherings (especially Thanksgiving) in YHC’s youger days.  Two teams divided up by Pax counting off by 1s & 2s and the rules were given.

Rules of Kickback

  • 2 teams take turns punting a football back & forth until one team pushes the other team out the back of their end zone (i.e. trying to gain better field position with each punt)
  • Receiving team has to field punt cleanly.  If fielded cleanly, 10 Merkins for receiving team, if not fielded cleanly 20 Merkins is the penalty.
  • Kicking team does continuous prisoner squats while punt is in the air and receiving team does merkins
  • Keep flapjacking until there is a winner

With the rules out of the way, kickback began.  Don’t think we had a clear winner due to time constraints, but each team kicked 4 times.  (the F3 version of Kickback may need some tweaking, the beta test was a bit rough)

Filler Material

Mosey back to the parking lot and partner up.  Partner 1 runs a lap around parking lot (long loop) while partner 2 does sumo-squats – flapjack.
